When CloudContacts launched, one of our goals was to recycle 1,000,000 business cards in 2009. We are working towards that goal and to-date, only one customer has wanted their cards returned. All of our other customers have asked us to recycle their cards. We will always offer a business card return service but hope that the trend of recycling the cards after we process them continues throughout 2009.

While processing an order last night, it hit me that when our customers select the recycling option, they are also putting a tremendous amount of trust in us. Trust that we got the data right and trust that their accounts will be around for the long-term so they can get their data at any point. It sure does mean a lot to have already earned that trust in just over two months, thank you.

I will have more about the recycling program as the year progresses. If we generate any revenue from the recycling efforts, all of the funds will either go to tree planting or another worthy cause.
