CloudContacts Adds Twitter @Anywhere for Quick Follows
April 19th, 2010
Just under a month ago, we launched our Social Connector service. The Social Connector takes the email address on a business card and searches a variety of social and business networks (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr, Twitter, etc.) for matches. Where we find a match, we add the service username to the contact. In just the first two weeks, we found over 10,000 connections.
Last week Twitter announced at their developer conference Chirp, the release of their @Anywhere platform. Today I am excited to announce the next phase of our social CRM and Social Connector service. We’ve integrated Twitter’s new @Anywhere platform into CloudContacts. You can now connect directly to your business card contacts on Twitter. After you connect your Twitter account with your CloudContacts account which takes just a second, following a person on Twitter takes just one click. We also display which contacts you are already following. This new functionality takes a scanned business card to a whole new level of online connectivity.
Here’s what the Twitter follow page looks like within our CloudContacts demo account:

The CloudContacts Twitter @Anywhere integration is free for all CloudContacts customers. If you aren’t a customer yet, you can place an order today and join the CloudContacts family!
