New Direct Support for Gmail Contacts

January 10th, 2009

Today we added a direct export option that matches what Gmail requests for easy contact import. It’s really simple to use:

Step 1: Download the Gmail contacts file inside your CloudContacts account
Step 2: Load Gmail and select the Contacts option on the left menu
Step 3: Click Import on the upper-right side of the page
Step 4: Browse for your Gmail contacts file and click Submit

That’s it! Your business card contacts will now be available for use inside Gmail.

Remember, you can always download a generic CSV file that you can use anywhere. We will keep working on setting up direct support for as many CRM and contact management services as possible. Leave a comment if there are any specific programs you’d like an export for.

Could you add support for Constant Contact? I use that for my email blasts.
